THE PROSTHETICS

Conventional bridges – fixed partial denture

This is the prosthetic restoration permanently fixed in the mouth that restores the lack of one or few teeth. In order to fix them it is necessary to use the teeth that are on both sides of the toothless gap(they are previously polished). They are made with the use of suitable alloy that are than covered with porcelain or composite.

Time of treatment: 2-3 visits

1 visit – polishing of teeth, impression, crown a tooth

2 visit – the measure of metal components ( there are some cases in which this part   can be skipped)

3 visit – the fixing of a bridge

The result of the treatment: aesthetic restoration of the missing tooth or teeth

The advantages:

  • Long life expectancy
  • Corrects the occlusion
  • Easy to clean
  • Helpful in prevention from movement of neighbouring and opposing teeth

THE PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN

Having in mind how the visit at “the school dentist” looked like and what were the consequences – the fear of the dentist in the adults life of a patient we were choosing our staff very carefully and we adapted the rooms appropriately. [Picture].

We use materials which were specially made for our youngest patients.

We created a special program of the complex care for children that consists of:

      • The adaptation visit – acquaintance with the dentist and the dentist’s room
      • The training of  the correct hygiene of the mouth and the selection of the appropriate accessories
      • The individual approach to each of the little patient
      • The full-scale preventive treatment : sealing, coating, colourful filling
      • Stress free, treatment of the teeth defect without the use of a drill – air – abrasion system
